The Five Elements

Metal, Water, Wood, Fire and Earth 

represent the fundamental qualities of nature  ~

The nature of water is to be fluid and adaptive.


The highest good is like water.
Water gives life to the ten thousand things and does not strive.
It flows in places that men reject and so it is like the Tao.
